My philosophy on child care is 1st keep them safe, then help them thrive.  

I believe my primary responsibility is to teach or reinforce good manners and social skills. That involves finding the proper balance between paying close attention and allowing them room to try to solve situations on their own.  A socially responsible and well behaved child will be in a prime position to learn when they get to school.  I try to find activities which stimulate the older children and inspire even the littlest ones so they can't wait to learn also.  

While I don't offer a classroom environment,  we have a half hour or more of school time once or twice a day.

    I often find teachable moments during play or use easy games &  activities geared                                                toward their attention span and motor skill ability.    

          I have a fenced back yard and a little open area with a                 tiny hill next to my home so the  children and run and play.

  For our indoor activities, there is a playroom with toys for all ages.
